About 40 now what
Bold, authentic and straight-talking – 40 now what is a digital magazine that publishes honest articles and interviews as well as curated lifestyle updates including health and wellbeing, beauty, house & home, and travel one day when we are actually allowed to do it again.
We are passionate about empowering women, supporting awesome brands and businesses, laughing at when life hands you lemons and keeping shit real.
More about us
We are both into healthy living, high street fashion, books, fitness, exploring the world, any form of pampering, nature, Netflix, cooking and laughter among many other things.
Talya – a self-professed media maven – initially cut her teeth in the world of PR and communications at a number of London agencies as well as at one of the world’s leading Museums – the Victoria and Albert. She then co-founded a leading online lifestyle platform during her stint living in Asia – City Nomads (think a Time Out for Singapore). Having then gone on to establish Motherhood: The Real Deal as one of the top UK parenting blogs in the UK – in between battling her various life and health dramas – she also co-founded a wellness and wellbeing company Self Love Today.
Katie – the friend you can’t put on speakerphone because you don’t know what’s going to come out her mouth. That’s Katie. She started her career in TV back in 1997. Her credits include EastEnders, Come Dine with Me, Dancing on Ice, Hell’s Kitchen and many more. She met her husband in Costa Rica on the crew of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. She’s had her fair share of life challenges that’s for sure and self-published a book on the subject of her battles with anxiety.
You can find her story here.
